MAD ANTHONY’S LAKEVIEW ALEHOUSE & RECEPTION HALL
The phrase “Peace, Love and Hoppiness” graces the front of the menu; it’s a fitting motto for this laid-back pub.
Blaine Stuckey of Lake James started Mad Anthony Brewing Company in Fort Wayne and brought the love home when the Lakeview Ale House was built adjacent to the historic Bledsoe’s Beach at the iconic tourist mecca. Mad Anthony has fours locations, all featuring original Mad Brew.
The house drafts include staples like the award-winning Auburn Lager and heartly Harry Baals Irish Stout. A favorite of the lake crowd is the hoppy Mosaic Moon. For some serious IBUS’ , check out the Palate Jacked.
Stuckey’s brewing team experiments constantly and there is always something new. A recent tangy treat was Pomegranate Lime Gose. The draft list is online along with the pub food menu, which has everything from poutine to walleye sliders.
The food, the brew and the atmosphere combine for a family friendly dinner spot that’s got the sparkle of a nightclub when bands play outside under the lights. Find plenty of outdoor seating in a screened room and at picnic tables overlooking the lake. A blazing bonfire adds to the mood when the sun sets.
